At the heart of the Rhinoceros XN28 Crawler Excavator is a choice between two robust engines: Yanmar and Kubota. With displacements of 1.267 and 1.123 liters respectively, these engines deliver a rated power of 14.6 and 14.2 kW. This power translates into a maximum torque of 51.9 Nm, ensuring that the XN28 can handle the most demanding tasks with ease. The engine’s efficiency is further enhanced by a 12-volt starter and a 12-55 generator, providing reliable performance in all conditions.

The XN28’s travel speed ranges from 1.4 km/h in low gear to 2.7 km/h in high gear, allowing for swift maneuverability across different terrains. Its rotating speed of 9 rpm and gradeability of 30° make it a versatile machine capable of navigating slopes and tight spaces with ease. With a bucket digging force of 16.14 kN and an arm digging force of 11.7 kN, the XN28 offers powerful digging capabilities, making it ideal for a wide range of construction applications.
