Overview

The Log Grapple 28 in is a 28 inch log grapple for lifting and skidding timber. The product page lists its carbon steel build, red color, and item size. Therefore, use this page to check the size and weight before you order a log grapple 28 in for your work.

How the log grapple 28 in is used

A log grapple is a set of tongs that closes around a log. It lets you lift, carry, or drag timber without wrapping chains by hand. Therefore, the tongs suit log handling jobs where you need a firm grip on the load.

First, open the tongs and position them around the log near the center of the load. Next, close the tongs and check that the jaws sit firmly on the wood. Then lift or skid the log slowly. Finally, lower the log onto a stable surface before you release the tongs.
